Hey, everyone. Welcome back. Today, we’re taking a look at a Dragon figure by the name of Eddie Strong. He’s a U.S. Army bazookaman from Italy, 1944. And he’s part of the 92nd infantry division, the Buffalo Soldiers.

Let’s go ahead and take a look at the box. There’s a look at the figure. It looks really awesome. He’s a very simplistic figure, but I really like him. He’s one that I’ve been trying to track down for a little while. I finally was able to get him. Got him off eBay for around $60 or close to $70, I think, with shipping. Anyway, on the side of the box you can see another really cool pose of the figure. And then the back of the box. See some of his equipment that he comes with.

This one came out in 2007. Awesome looking box, as always. Now, let’s go ahead and bring out the figure. Here is Eddie Strong. A great figure, like I said. Very simple figure, but he looks super awesome. I’m really liking this one. He is unfortunately pretty rare. I don’t see him pop up a whole lot. So, you got to keep an eye out if you want to get this one. It doesn’t show up a lot on eBay anyway.

Well, for starters, let’s take a look at his bazooka, which is very nice. Let me try to pose him. It doesn’t hold it all too well in his hand. It’s actually a little tricky to get a good post with the bazooka. Unfortunately, while putting him together I did break the strap on there. I’m going to have to glue that back on. But regardless, nice bazooka that he comes with.

And on the back, he does come with the bazooka rocket carrying bag. Inside you do get three rockets. So, here they are. If you want, you can put them inside of the bazooka. Kind of gets stuck in there though. Anyway, very nice. And then the figure also comes with a carbine. Let me take that off. Might have to take off his helmet in order to get it off. It’s pretty tight around his chest there. All right. Here’s the carbine. Nice model, as always. Got a nice durable strap on there. You see the bullet inside. Here he is holding it, and he holds that very well.

Next up, let’s take a look at the helmet. It’s just a plastic helmet that you get with this one. But still, it fits really well on the head sculpt and it looks great. All right. I really liked the head sculpt on this one. As you can see, he is bald, which is really cool. You don’t see a lot of bald dragon figures. Actually, it looks like he probably shaved his head. But I think it looks really good, and it’s really realistic, too. You can see a lot of wrinkles in the back and then in the front on his forehead, especially. Just really good detailing on this head sculp. I was impressed with it.

Let me take the carbine out of his hands, and we’ll take a look at his equipment next. Like I said earlier, on his back he’s got his rocket carrying bag, which fits very snugly on his back. And that looks great. And in the front, we’ve got two extra clips for his carbine and the pouch for that, of course. And then we’ve got his canteen and his first aid bag. All right. And that’s it as far as equipment goes. So, pretty simple. But really nice jacket that you get with this as well.

If I zip it down, you can kind of see his other uniform underneath, and you can also see a white t-shirt there. I really like the sticker that he comes with here … the Buffalo insignia there on the side on his shoulder there. I did notice on the box, it looks like this hand is the other … the more open hand sculpt. But instead they give you the more closed one, which unfortunately it makes it difficult to pose with the bazooka. You can’t really get a good grip around it. It doesn’t really fit inside of his hand. I was kind of wondering why they … or at least why they put it on the box as the different hand sculpt, then they give you this one. It was the only thing I was a little annoyed about, because you can’t really hold the bazooka well because of that. But just an observation.

Lastly, we’ve got his trousers, and then his boots with the leggings. I had a hard time putting these ones on this time. I don’t know why. Maybe because of the age. But these little pins kept just popping out, which was really frustrating. Once you get all that on, it looks really awesome. That’s everything to show for the figure. Guys, this is a great figure, one that I highly recommend picking up. I was really happy to finally get him. He’s just very realistic, even though he’s very simple. Just super realistic, and everything looks great. Hope you guys enjoyed this review. Thanks so much for watching, as always, and I’ll see you next time.
